FAQ

Why photography?

Being in front of the lens for many years, I had the opportunity to watch photographers work. What light was available to them? In what ways were they going to manipulate their camera to get what they want? How will they position the model to get the angle they desire, the shadow they want to create? This was intriguing to me. I wanted to do that.

What is your style of photography?

Lifestyle. I have an approach that is natural, spontaneous, playful, emotional, and full of impact. My goal is to capture all the moments of any event that truly tell a story...your story!

How long does it take for us to get our images?

We strive to have an online gallery of images ready for our clients within 8 weeks. There are times when we are booked more due to the season we are in but 2 months is the average. Once the gallery is ready, you can view, share & download all the photos. Making a "favorites list" and/or ordering prints, framed photos, canvas wraps, etc. are all easy to do as well within our client gallery set-ups.

How many pictures will we receive?

Typically, for 8 hours of wedding coverage, you will receive between 600 to 800 edited "print ready" images. I prefer to choose quality rather than quantity with the focus of telling your wedding day love story. I also like to make your gallery well organized for easy viewing by having folder categories: Bride & Groom, Ceremony, Celebration, etc.

How many photographers will be there on the day of the event?

One lead photographer is always there for every event. Sometimes a 2nd photographer can be utilized to gain more coverage throughout the event. I have said this many times when consulting with clients, "I can't be at two places at the one time." However, I am very confident we will find a way to make it all work. A 3rd photographer was hired not long ago for a very large wedding that had multiple locations throughout the San Fransisco area which truly made it all work perfectly. So much depends on what the needs are of the client and of course, what the budget will allow us to do.

Do you also shoot video?

I have videographers that I love and trust. They can be available upon request.

Do you offer a photo album of our event?

Yes! We offer a timeless album with lay-flat pages using the highest quality photo paper in these heirloom books that will stand the test of time. Each photo album is beautifully designed by our in-house designer & handcrafted cover to cover here in the USA.
